What will you learn on our courses? 

As mentioned above, during the course you will acquire the theoretical knowledge as well as the practical equipment handling skills necessary to do well as an assembler. We focus on the quality of the classes, so that students feel prepared for their profession and the knowledge stays with them for a long time. You will also learn about issues of technical documentation, health and safety when erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and working on scaffolding using scaffolding documentation. You will be introduced to types of scaffolding, construction and site organisation as well as scaffolding assembly methods. 

Certificate 

As confirmation of your qualifications, you will receive a certificate and an entry in the work machinery operator's book. The scaffolding installer qualification is unlimited in duration, so you do not need to renew it. 

What is the course programme? 

Our course programme has been developed in accordance with the guidelines of the Institute of Mechanised Construction and Rock Mining. This institution conducts the examinations and awards the certificates.

Our theory classes include:

  • Health and safety issues in the assembly and use of scaffolding; 
  • knowledge relating to legislation; 
  • scaffolding assembly and dismantling technology. 

Practical activities include: 

  • preparatory work prior to installation of scaffolding; 
  • inspection of the technical condition of the scaffolding.

A few words about the exam 

Each course is followed by an examination. The examination consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theory is tested by means of a written examination. Afterwards, the trainee will be tested on his or her practical skills before an examination board appointed by the Institute of Mechanisation and Rock Mining. If the examination is positive, the trainee is awarded the licence. The most important thing for the person receiving the licence is a scaffolder's booklet and a certificate of completion of the course.

What are the requirements to take the course? 

All you need is to be 18 years old, have a minimum of primary education and a medical certificate that you are fit to practise this profession.
