Examination G1-G2-G3
In order to obtain the licence, it is necessary to take an exam - the G1 to 1 kV exam, passed in front of a SEP commission, is one of the most frequently chosen exams, also by trainees learning in our ERGON Centre for Staff Improvement. It is also possible to take it before the committees of PSE, SIMP, SITPS and others, which are designated by the Energy Regulatory Office (URE), which regulates energy issues in Poland. Stowarzyszenie Elektryków Polskich (SEP), Polskie Stowarzyszenie Elektroinstalacyjne (PSE), Stowarzyszenie Inżynierów Mechaników Polskich (SIMP), Stowarzyszenie Inżynierów i Techników Przemysłu Spożywczego (SITPS or SITSpoż) allow you to take the exam throughout Poland.
Association of Polish Electrical Engineers (SEP) was established at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. It focuses primarily on educational and promotional activities in its field, and also performs conformity assessments of low-voltage electrical products. The Polish Electrical Installation Association (PSE) has been operating for 9 years, having been established in 2007 by representatives of the largest Polish electrical installation companies. The Association of Polish Mechanical Engineers and Technicians (SIMP) was founded in the 1920s by Professor Henryk Mierzejewski. SIMP brings together mechanical engineers and technicians, as well as representatives of related professions. Stowarzyszenie Inżynierów i Techników Przemysłu Spożywczego (Association of Food Industry Engineers and Technicians - SITPS or SITSpoż) was established in the 1940s and focuses its activities on technology in the food industry.
Each participant of our training receives materials for the exam, regardless of the chosen examination committee: SEP, PSE, SIMP, SITPS, which help them to prepare for the exam. We also publish sample questions on this page, which will allow you to become more familiar with the topics of the exam. Questions on the test are varied and depend on the particular group - G-1, G-2, G-3.
As stated in the PSE, SIMP, SITPS, etc. regulations and in the SEP regulations, the exam requires you to come with a valid ID. Examinations are organised all over the country - it is not only Warsaw. The participant may indicate the commission before which he/she wishes to take the exam.
