The ERGON Personnel Improvement Centre invites you to attend a course on the maintenance of warehouse stacker cranes. We have qualified instructors on our staff who are able to pass on their knowledge in an understandable way and are happy to share the experience they have gained over the years in maintaining the equipment. 

Warehouse stacker cranes are used extensively in logistics. They are equipment often used in large warehouses, so the demand for qualified maintainers of this equipment is currently very high. Their task is to transport and place stored goods on specially designated racks. Stacker cranes belong to the category of handling equipment, so in order to become a stacker crane technician, you must pass a state exam prepared by the Office of Technical Inspection. 

Purpose of the training 

The aim of the course is to prepare the participant as well as possible for the qualification examination before the UDT board. This will enable him or her to become qualified in the maintenance of warehouse stacker cranes. These qualifications are recognised throughout Poland and in the countries of the European Union. 

Requirements 

Warehouse stacker crane lifts load
  • at least 18 years old, 
  • minimum basic education, 
  • a state of health permitting work as a stacker crane maintainer, certified by an occupational physician. 

Course topics 

  • information on technical supervision, 
  • safety mechanisms and apparatus, 
  • instructions for the operation of the equipment, 
  • maintenance rules for stacker cranes, 
  • electrical components (drive, power supply, control), 
  • components of the mechanical part, 
  • design of hydraulic components, 
  • design of pneumatic components, 
  • different ways of labelling the stacker cranes in the warehouse, 
  • rules on health and safety at work.

Training programme 

The training consists of two parts: 

  • theoretical classes, during which students acquire theoretical knowledge, 
  • practical classes, during which students consolidate recently acquired information through exercises on machines and improve their skills. 

Warehouse stacker crane operation course 

We also organise training in the operation of warehouse stacker cranes, also ending with the UDT exam. The course will allow you to acquire the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to work with stacker cranes. We recommend this training to all those wishing to be certified as a warehouse stacker crane operator, especially warehouse workers wishing to increase their qualifications.
