Course flow 

Forklift operator training can be divided into two basic stages: 

  • theoretical part (lectures, sample tests), 
  • the practical part (fieldwork). 

During the course, the student should acquire knowledge of: 

  • UDT requirements, 
  • breakdown of machines and their technical performance, 
  • safety measures during work, 
  • the concepts of truck stability and overturning moment, 
  • electrical and hydraulic systems, 
  • preparatory activities before work, 
  • capacity diagrams, 
  • work-related challenges, 

Exam 

The forklift operator course concludes with a state examination conducted by the Office of Technical Inspection. The examination consists of a theoretical part and a practical part, verifying the acquired skills in operating the given equipment. Our courses are always based on the current examination requirements. 

Location of training 

Trainings take place at our head office in Warsaw, as well as in branches located in cities all over Poland. We are also ready to conduct classes with a visit to the client. The course can be both closed and open. The timing and course of the training depends on your interest.

Training objectives 

A graduate of our course should have the skills to operate different types of forklift trucks, in a variety of conditions and locations. He or she should also be familiar with the technical specifications of the equipment operated and have basic service skills. The worker also knows how to ensure safe working conditions after the course. 

Post-course work  

Once a forklift operator's licence is obtained, the course graduate will be able to find employment: 

  • in warehouses, 
  • in the production halls, 
  • in factories, 
  • in transport, handling work.

Requirements for trainees

All those interested in the course must:   

  • be at least 18 years old,   
  • obtain a certificate of no contraindication to the profession,  
  • have a minimum of primary education. 

Definition of a forklift truck  

Forklift trucks are machines belonging to the category of material handling equipment, used to move materials, mainly on industrial halls and in warehouses. Forklift trucks, like most machines of this type, are subject to inspection by the Technical Inspection Authority.
