ERGON Centre for Staff Improvement invites you to attend professional courses enabling you to obtain the qualifications of a forklift truck operator and maintainer, including the following telescopic loaders, i.e. forklift trucks with variable booms. Training in the operation and maintenance of telehandlers

At our company, we also provide training as a telehandler operator and maintainer. This is a very versatile piece of equipment, which is a forklift that can lift goods with telescopic arms and adjust the reach and height of the lift.

Fork-lift truck maintenance course 

The maintainer is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the equipment. UDT training as a forklift maintenance technician is an attractive extension for those with forklift operator qualifications. Conservationist during his work: 

• ensures that all safety components are operating correctly, 
• checks that the signalling and control mechanisms are working correctly, 
• checks the technical condition of the drive mechanisms, 
• checks the operation of the fixings and the braking system, 
• rectifies malfunctions and defects, 
• checks the operation of lighting equipment, 
• takes decisions to discontinue use when it does not meet standards and requirements,

Forklift truck operator course 

A person with a licence to operate forklifts, including telehandlers, can find work in many places. The equipment is often used in industry, construction and agriculture. In their work, a forklift operator performs activities such as: 

• movement of goods, 
• loading and unloading of goods using a forklift, 
• minor warehouse work, 
• checking the technical condition of new and used equipment, 
• keeping an audit book of the forklift truck, 
• keeping a maintenance log for the unit, 
• repairing minor faults, e.g. replacing gas cylinders in a combustion forklift truck, adding oil to the correct level, etc.

• practical part. 

Entitlements  

Once the participant has completed the training and passed the examination held before the board of the Office of Technical Inspection, he or she will receive a qualification certificate, confirming the entitlement obtained. 

Prerequisites 

Candidates for operator and maintenance positions should have: 

• minimum 18 years, 
• at least vocational training, 
• ability to communicate in Polish, 
• a state of health permitting the performance of the duties of the job in question, certified by an occupational physician.

Are the licences issued by the UDT?

Yes. Both operator and maintenance qualifications are granted by the institution of the Office of Technical Inspection. 

What does the training look like?

The course consists of a theoretical part and a practical part and ends with an examination before an UDT commission. We carry out training in open or closed groups, also at the customer's premises.
