Course of training 

Crane operator course The self-propelled vehicle training is conducted in the form of theoretical and practical classes. The training ends with the UDT exam.  

Theoretical part - lectures on construction, operation and legislation can be delivered online. 

Practical part - the student follows the instructor's instructions. 

Topics covered on the course 

During our training you will gain knowledge of:

  • the rules to be followed in the event of a breakdown of the equipment or a possible operating accident, 
  • the dangers of crane operation, 
  • health and safety at work, 
  • slings and handling aids, 
  • general information on handling equipment, 
  • the construction of the hydraulic or pneumatic component, 
  • construction of the mechanical and electrical components, 
  • stability of the crane, 
  • crane intensity groups,  
  • types of crane protection, 
  • methods of carrying out the work, 
  • positioning of the crane on the work site, 
  • cooperation with the hook, 
  • working under specific conditions. 

Mobile cranes - Description  

Otherwise known as truck cranes and self-propelled cranes, they are cranes located on truck chassis or other self-propelled chassis specially designed for this purpose. They have winches and a pivoting boom to move, lift and lower loads. They are most commonly used on construction sites. 

A mobile crane operator's licence will also allow you to operate: 

  • mobile cranes, 
  • HDS cranes, 
  • stationary cranes. 

Where can I find employment after the course? 

As a mobile crane operator you can work in the construction industry, among others: 

  • in the assembly of industrial facilities, 
  • by performing handling and transport work in industrial plants, warehouses, ports. 

Qualification UDT 

Once a trainee has passed the examination, he or she is awarded a qualification certificate, authorising them to work on mobile, stationary, mobile and portable cranes. The qualification expires after five years, but there is the possibility of renewal.

In order to extend the validity of your qualification certificate, you must apply for an extension to the Technical Inspection Authority. You must also have worked at least three years in the profession. 

What are the conditions of participation? 

A person who wishes to take part in the course must have: 

  • at least 18 years old, 
  • minimum primary or lower secondary school education, 
  • a state of health that allows you to work as a mobile crane operator (certified by a doctor).

We have training centres located all over Poland. We also offer travel to the client, so we can carry out training virtually anywhere, even outside Poland.

Our training centre, offers courses for UDT maintainers on the above-mentioned cranes. We invite willing operators and other specialists to broaden their knowledge.

What cranes can I operate after completing the mobile crane operator course?

Those who have completed this course and passed the UDT exam can operate mobile cranes, stationary cranes, mobile cranes and mobile cranes (HDS).
