Scope of courses
We specialise in delivering a range of courses in the technical industry - including onshore and offshore courses. With us, you will gain the qualifications that allow you to work on an oil rig. Once you have completed your training, we will prepare you to obtain the MEWP ISO 18878 certificate, which will certify your professional qualifications.
Training topics
The onshore and offshore training is divided into theoretical and practical parts, where you will learn about:
- health and safety rules,
- current legal basis,
- risks and potential failures,
- procedure before boarding the helicopter and during the flight,
- working on offshore and onshore installations,
- operation of machinery and equipment for work on the drilling platform,
- oil and gas exploration,
- providing first aid.
Banksman and Slinger
Our training offer includes a course that prepares you to work as a crane and crane operator at sea - the Banksman and Slinger course. You will gain the required knowledge and practical skills in: operating and maintaining machinery, moving and hanging loads. The training has been developed in accordance with ISO 23853:2018 standards.
GWO 4 Onshore
Global Wind Organisation training, is a course for working in wind energy. It is made up of four modules, which base their scope on onshore - onshore wind. You will gain knowledge in:
- first aid - FA,
- Work at height - WAH,
- manual handling - MH,
- fire protection - FAW.
Certifications and qualifications
Successfully completed offshore and onshore courses provide the opportunity to obtain the MEWP ISO 18878 certificate. The certificate is issued by the international organisation OPITO. The document is valid for four years. It must be renewed regularly. It is recognised throughout the European Union.
Addressees of onshore and offshore courses
To be eligible for the training, a few basic conditions for participation must be met:
- be at least 18 years old,
- not be contra-indicated by an occupational physician to practice the profession,
- have a minimum of basic education.
Where do we train?
Offshore/onshore training, Banksman and Slinger, GWO 4 Onshoreand many others are held at our Warsaw headquarters. We lecture for groups and individual employees - of which the lectures themselves can be conducted online.
Questions and answers
How valid is the MEWP ISO 18878 certificate?
The certificate is valid for 4 years from the date of issue. It must be renewed 3 months before the expiry date on the document.
What is the difference between offshore and onshore?
Onshore work refers to onshore mining operations, while offshore refers to the extraction of raw materials on the seabed.
