What is health and safety training?
Health and safety training courses are compulsory for any employee starting in a position. There are also periodic courses for those already working. These training courses, aim to improve the trainees' knowledge of health protection and safety rules in the workplace. They should be conducted before the employee starts performing his or her duties. It is worth noting that health and safety training should take place during the employee's working hours.
Initial training
Initial health and safety training is for employees who start working in a particular position. It should be carried out on the first day of work before the employee starts performing his or her duties. Our courses are conducted by specialists who have extensive knowledge of occupational health and safety. Topics discussed in the initial training include:
- first aid course,
- health and safety at work,
- possible risks in the workplace,
- Labour law (Labour Code, Criminal Code).
We also organise practical classes where employees will test their first aid and fire extinguisher handling skills. In this way, trainees will acquire practical skills that they may use in the future. At the end of the initial training, the employee will receive an initial safety training card, which is valid for 6 to 12 months, depending on the position held. After this time, it is necessary to renew the knowledge and skills acquired. It is then advisable to organise periodic safety and health training for your employees.
Periodic training
A few or several months (depending on the position) after employment, it is necessary to refresh the knowledge previously acquired. That is why we also organise periodic occupational health and safety training courses, where employees gain knowledge of new laws and regulations and refresh their acquired knowledge and skills.
Periodic training will mainly benefit:
- administrative and clerical staff,
- engineering and technical staff,
- workers in blue-collar jobs,
- persons in charge of employees and employers.
Once the periodic training is completed, the employee takes the mandatory examination. If he/she passes, he/she receives a certificate of completion of periodic training in occupational health and safety. Depending on the specific nature and type of position occupied, the training should be renewed after one, three or five years.
In addition to health and safety courses, we also run operator courses:
- forklift trucks,
- mobile platforms (including aerial work platforms and scissor lifts),
- cranes,
- HDS cranes,
- cranes and tower cranes,
- telescopic loaders.
Our services also include:
