Excavator operation course
Get certified to operate an excavator
We offer specialist courses for excavator and backhoe loader qualifications. We have many years of experience in providing vocational training. We provide professional tuition under the guidance of qualified staff and a programme based on the current state exam requirements.
Training
Classes are taught by trained lecturers who comprehensively and clearly convey theoretical and practical knowledge. We develop our curriculum in accordance with the guidelines of the Institute of Mechanised Construction and Rock Mining. Our training is designed to fully prepare the future operator of construction machinery in terms of his duties and the characteristics of the equipment he will be operating.
Requirements for trainees
Potential trainees must:
- have at least a primary school education,
- be 18 years old,
- have a doctor's certificate, certifying that there are no contraindications to exercising the profession.
What exactly does the course look like?
The training classes are designed to provide knowledge on:
- the basics of machine maintenance and service,
- production of technical documentation,
- the correct use and operation of the equipment,
- HEALTH AND SAFETY,
- preparatory activities,
- knowledge of electrotechnical principles,
- design of supported equipment,
- the technology of the tools used.
Final course exam
After the training, the trainees are required to take a state examination, which is conducted by a commission from the Institute of Mechanised Construction and Rock Mining. The exam, like the training, consists of a theoretical and a practical part. After passing both parts, the course graduate receives a certificate entitling him to work as an operator.
Working in the profession
On completion of the excavator operator training course, the trainee will be able to operate excavators of all types and therefore find employment in the construction industry. An acquired qualification to work with excavators should mean that he or she is prepared to work in almost any conditions, knows how to perform basic servicing of the equipment, and knows how to operate the excavator so that work is carried out efficiently and safely.
We also offer training for operators of backhoe loaders, loaders and various types of construction equipment, as well as courses to prepare for the role of their maintainer.
Excavator - Description
An excavator is a piece of equipment whose job is to carry out ground formation work. It therefore helps to create a work site on a construction site. It is also used to move the excavated soil to a stockpile. These machines are also ideal for handling sand or gravel.
Excavator categories
There are many aspects that distinguish the types of excavator in question. Each excavator also has its own specifications. What they all have in common are basic structural elements such as the body, where the engine is located, the operator's cab or the carrier system. Excavators are usually differentiated based on their purpose. A distinction can be made between excavators:
- Pre-business,
- backhoe,
- mini excavators,
- Collective,
- grippers.
Excavator types are also distinguished by their drive, chassis type and mode of operation.
Similar equipment to excavators are loaders and so-called backhoe loaders. Unlike excavators, loaders do not have an arm ending in a shovel, but a basket located at the front of the vehicle.
